Church Ministries

Sure Word Assembly reaches out to her members and the community through a variety of ministries as follows:

Ministry to Youths
The church has a strong ministry to youths aimed at presenting them with an alternative to life of violence, drugs and sex. She holds a monthly discipleship meeting for youths and several indoor/outdoor programs where youths are challenged to live for God. The youth ministry is divided into two: Excellers Fellowship for youths 24 years and above; Pacesetters Fellowship for youths below 24 years.
Ministry to Men
The Men's Fellowship reaches out to men and provides a forum where they can learn together. It promotes relationships, support and accountability between men. The men are called Men of Excellence.

Ministry to Women
Like the Men's ministry, the Women's Fellowship promotes relationships between women and reaches out to the unsaved of their gender. It runs regular seminars to equip women to be better homemakers. They are called Women of Excellence.

Ministry to Couples
Pastor Dennis and his wife, Aity, are committed to building strong marriages. They hold regular meetings for couples and devote the month of August every year to teaching on marriage.

Ministry to Business People
Pastor Dennis believes that the endemic poverty in Africa and Nigeria in particular will not be remedied by the government alone. So, he hosts the annual Success in Business Conference where people are taught practical principles for wealth creation. His flagship teaching on “How to Start Your Own Business with Little or No Money” is a master stroke for youth empowerment. In a country noted for corruption, Pastor Dennis challenges people to do business with integrity.

Ministry to Professionals
The Professionals Network of Sure Word Assembly is a market place ministry to reach out to professionals in non-church environments. It also challenges Christian professionals to live out their faith at work and commit themselves to propagating the gospel of the Kingdom.

Ministry to the Needy
The church meets the needs of members and non-members principally through El-Shaddai Foundation. The church has members who commit themselves to a monthly contribution to meet the needs of others. El-Shaddai Foundation has provided relief materials for refugees, paid school fees for indigent students, paid hospital bills.
